ARTICLE III: Membership

Participation in Blackstar Squadron is open to everyone 18 years and older. Conduct that fosters negativity or creates disharmony within the group is not tolerated. EVER. We are the heroes and heroines of a rag-tag fleet and we expect our members to act with honor, dignity and respect. Membership may be revoked by the High Council at any time for improper behavior.
There are two membership tiers within Blackstar Squadron: Forum (Trainee): Activating an account at blackstarsquad.proboards.com is your first step into Colonial Service. Forum members are affectionately referred to as Trainees and hold no voting rights. This is the time for making connections and building knowledge. Get to know the other Trainees and Warriors. Review tutorials. Spend time studying in the Fleet Library. Our community is friendly so please ask questions. The more you participate, the more you prepare yourself for the responsibilities of Warrior. Warrior (costume): To advance to Warrior, a Trainee must assemble a Colonial uniform (Bridge Officer, Flight Crew, Medical, Pilot, Security) and receive High Council approval as outlined in Article IV: Uniform Standards & Approval. Submission of limited personal information and standard photographs is required, and by doing so, you grant Blackstar Squadron non-exclusive rights as outlined in Article V: Personal Information & Photographs. Once approved, a Trainee is advanced to the voting rank of Cadet and receives a Warrior Dossier page. In some cases, a Trainee may receive a temporary rank of Recruit. |
